Our Story

Since 1986, we’ve designed, manufactured, deployed, and maintained specialized electrical systems that power the world’s most demanding industries. BNS Power was formed through the merger of two industry leaders—Carolina Power Systems and Cadick Corporation—bringing together decades of complementary expertise:

Carolina Power Systems

Founded in 1994, CPS established itself as a premier provider of high-quality marine electrical equipment to the military shipbuilding industry, supplying switchboards, motor controllers, and control equipment for U.S. Navy and Coast Guard vessels.

Cadick Corporation

Founded in 1986 by John Cadick, the company became one of the nation’s most trusted providers of customized electrical power solutions, including maintenance, engineering studies, and world-class training for producers, distributors, and users of electric power

Born from deep maritime and military expertise, we’ve expanded our reach to deliver military-grade precision and safety across critical infrastructure, data centers, and industrial sectors. Our team of licensed Professional Engineers brings unparalleled technical knowledge to every project, designing custom, fail-safe solutions that exceed the most rigorous specifications.
