Bold New Solutions
We power and connect the systems that protect us all.
BNS engineers, builds, and maintains mission-critical power and technology infrastructure — from shipboard switchboards for the U.S. Navy to 10-megawatt AI data centers. Veteran-owned. American-made. Proven since 1986.
One company. Two disciplines.
Everything we do is either power or connection.
Customers rarely need just one. A data center needs switchgear and structured cabling. A ship needs motor controllers and the crew trained to run them. BNS is organized so you can start on either side and get the whole answer.
BNS Power
Mission-critical electrical power systems
The entire lifecycle of a mission-critical electrical system, from the first power study to the last retrofit: licensed PEs engineer it, our Sumter, South Carolina plant builds it to MIL-spec, and our field teams commission, maintain and modernize it for as long as it runs.
- Assess & engineer: arc flash, coordination, load flow and short-circuit studies, PE-stamped designs
- Manufacture, install & commission: custom switchboards, switchgear, controllers and panels, shipboard or land-based
- Operate, maintain & protect: condition-based maintenance, electrical safety programs, crew and operator training
- Modernize & retire: automation upgrades, strategic retrofit, end-of-life replacement
BNS Networks
Technology infrastructure, across the whole lifecycle
From first assessment to final decommission: data centers, AI and GPU clusters, telecom facilities, and enterprise environments, delivered by teams that average 25 years in rooms where failure is not an option.
- Assess & design, including PE-stamped drawings
- Build & deploy: fit-ups, rack and stack, structured cabling, liquid-cooled AI infrastructure
- Operate, protect, and migrate without unplanned downtime
- Retire & recover: certified data destruction and asset value recovery
The entire lifecycle, both divisions
From the first assessment to final retirement, on both sides of the house.
Most vendors do one or two stages. BNS does all of them, for electrical power systems and for technology infrastructure, so one accountable partner carries a system from day one to end of life.

Technology infrastructure
Build & Deploy
Fit-ups, rack and stack, structured cabling, AC/DC power, liquid-cooled AI infrastructure.
DetailsWhy BNS
Built for environments where failure is not an option.
The same discipline applies whether the deliverable is a 6,600-volt switchgear lineup or a 400-rack GPU deployment.
Engineers, not just installers
Licensed Professional Engineers on staff across both divisions. PE-stamped drawings, engineering studies, and designs built for what the field can actually execute.
Custom-engineered, built in-house
No catalog. Switchboards, switchgear and controllers are designed to your specification, then built and factory-tested in our own Sumter, SC plant under simulated shipboard conditions.
Self-performed, single accountability
We self-perform across trades so there are no coordination gaps. Austin: 10 MW, 400 racks, 16 weeks, zero safety incidents, zero callbacks.
Documentation built for auditors
NIST SP 800-88 destruction certificates, chain-of-custody records, as-builts, and MOPs designed to satisfy regulators, not just close a ticket.
Where it matters
Industries we serve
Different regulators, different risk tolerances, the same lifecycle discipline.
Maritime & Defense
U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command and commercial fleets.
Data Centers & AI
Colocation, hyperscale, enterprise and liquid-cooled GPU infrastructure.
Telecommunications
Central offices, edge facilities, fiber construction, carrier infrastructure.
Utilities & Critical Infrastructure
Generation, transmission, distribution, transportation and public safety systems.
Industrial & Commercial
Manufacturing, petrochemical, mining, water, healthcare and campus facilities.
Enterprise & Government
Corporate IT, distributed locations, federal grant programs and public sector projects.
Proven at scale
Results, not promises.
