A structured cabling topology that ignores redundancy paths creates single points of failure. A capacity plan based on current workloads forces expensive retrofits within months of commissioning.
Yet most infrastructure teams face these decisions with incomplete information: outdated or missing documentation, institutional knowledge that walked out the door, vendor assessments with built-in bias, and pressure to move fast that skips the foundation work.
We have seen the consequences: data centers that hit capacity two years ahead of plan, structured cabling that cannot carry AI workloads, power systems designed for 5 kW racks struggling to support 40 kW deployments. The cost of fixing these after the fact dwarfs the investment in getting the assessment right.
How we work
Every engagement begins with listening, not presenting capabilities. What is driving this project? What constraints are non-negotiable? What does success look like, and what happens if you do not achieve it?
Our assessment methodology combines physical inspection, documentation review and stakeholder interviews. Licensed Professional Engineers with decades of experience across data centers, telecom facilities and enterprise environments compare what exists to what is documented and identify the gaps that create operational risk.
Design follows a structured review process. Final designs include PE-stamped drawings where required, detailed specifications, and Methods of Procedure that installation teams can execute without interpretation. We design for buildability.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an infrastructure assessment take?
It depends on facility size and complexity. A single data center suite might require 2–3 days on site plus a week of analysis and documentation. A multi-site enterprise assessment can span several weeks. We provide specific timelines after an initial scoping conversation.
Do you provide PE-stamped drawings?
Yes. Our team includes Licensed Professional Engineers who can provide stamped drawings for jurisdictions that require them. We maintain active licenses across multiple states and coordinate additional licensing as needed.
Can you assess AI/GPU infrastructure requirements?
Absolutely. We have assessed power and cooling for deployments from pilot GPU clusters to 10 MW+ AI buildouts, including liquid cooling feasibility, high-density power distribution planning and structural load analysis for equipment significantly heavier than traditional IT.
What deliverables do we receive?
A detailed findings report, gap analysis comparing current state to requirements, recommendations prioritized by risk and impact, and supporting documentation such as floor plans, single-line diagrams and asset inventories. Design engagements deliver PE-stamped drawings, specifications, bills of material and MOPs ready for construction.
Do you work with existing designs or vendor proposals?
Yes. We frequently provide independent design reviews of vendor proposals or existing plans, and we regularly complete or refine designs that others started.
How do you handle multi-site assessments?
We typically begin with a pilot assessment at one location to calibrate the approach, then scale across the remaining sites with centralized reporting so findings can be compared across your portfolio.
